NM Slaughter House presents a new attraction, one that tackles the zombie apocalypse. Titled “Battlefield Apocalypse,” this attraction uses paintball to create a tension-filled and action-oriented interactive experience. Not only are there plenty of undead to take out, the game also offers specific missions and objectives.

The setting is 13 weeks into a viral outbreak that has those who die reanimating to seek out the flesh of the living. The undead now outnumber the living. Martial law has failed and many urban areas have fallen into chaos. There is not help coming—the police and military have been compromised and overrun. It’s now up to the survivors.

Although disorganized, survivors soon realize that there is hope. A renegade commander, known only as the Beacon, begins to send out instructions on how to overcome the undead menace. The Beacon orders that survivors—now known as fellow Renegades—enter the world’s most infected sector, known as “Battlefield Apocalypse.” Here, the survivors must destroy every walking dead in sight and in the process locate the cure—the antidote that can at last bring an end to the horror.

Battlefield Apocalypse is operational from October through Halloween. Days of operation are Fridays and Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Ticket box office opens at 5:30 p.m. General admission is $25, with the Renegade receiving 50 rounds of paintball ammunition.
