Welcome to the Haunted House Association. HHA was established to assist and advance the haunted house industry through communication, education, and information. Through our website you will discover a worldwide network of fellow haunters in order to exchange ideas, information, experiences and concerns. Through HHA, you can communicate with other haunters via our message boards, newsletters, magazines and more.
With our website you will find links to profit and not-for-profit haunters, actors, set designers, haunted house suppliers and other related vendors. The haunted house industry has grown over the past decade and a half. Today haunted houses are a far more advanced form of entertainment than haunts from the 80s or early 90s. Haunted houses today feature set design that compares with major Florida theme parks and special effects even a Hollywood movie would envy.
Our industry has grown in both the quality and the types of venues that hold events. Virtually every major theme park now has a haunted event in October as part of its amusement season. Some haunted events are attracting over 300,000 paid guests in 30 short days, while other events produce attractions to raise money for local charities.

Our group also launches a national public relations campaign each year to support the haunted attraction industry. Our group produces magazines, communication, information, safety articles and so much more. Our group’s members have been featured on national television shows on the Travel Channel, the National Geographic Channel, Good Morning America and the Today Show, as well as on the front page of the life section of USA Today, in Time Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and so many more.
